My Grandma's Biography: Social & Religion Life

Dalam kehidupan sosialnya mempunyai sifat ramah dengan masyarakat serta orang yang baru ditemuinya. Serta tidak membeda-bedakan orang yang berpangkat maupun orang yang tiap harinya sebagai pengemis. Sifat-sifat tersebut dibentuk saat masih kecil yang suka bergaul dengan siapa saja, aktif dalam organisasi, pintar dalam bersosialisasi, dan suka mengajari pelajaran kepada teman-temannya.

Sedangkan kehidupan agamanya sama dengan orang muslim pada umumnya. Tidak pernah meninggalkan sholat wajib lima waktu dan tak pernah melewatkan sholat tahajjud. Pada pagi harinya kegiatannya diisi dengan membaca ayat Al-Qur’an. Di dalam doanya untuk anak-anaknya agar berhasil, kerjanya baik, diberi kesehatan yang baik. Sedangkan untuk cucu, cicit dan garis keturunannya: sekolah yang tinggi, menjadi orang yang bermanfaat, rajin ibadah, jadi orang sukses, menjadi PNS/Pemerintah, dan lainnya.

Beberapa kepribadian ataupun karakter dalam menjalani hidup selama ini:

1. Suka menolong siapa saja dengan ikhlas dan tidak mengharapkan balasan,
2. Makanan kesukaan ialah masakan Jawa dengan nasi putih yang dingin dan minum air putih,
3. Mempunyai kemauan keras. Jika mempunyai suatu keinginan, maka harus terpenuhi saat itu juga,
4. Selalu ingin aktif dalam hidupnya. Ingin memenuhi kebutuhannya sendiri. Seperti lebih suka masak sendiri daripada membeli masakan orang lain. Bangga akan masakannya sendiri,
5. Selalu terlihat sehat, enerjik dan tidak pernah sakit,
6. Selalu sayang terhadap cucu-cucunya, sehingga setiap cucu mempunyai kenangan indah tersendiri.

My Grandma's Biography: Healthy

Pernah kesehatannya terganggu cukup parah beberapa bulan setelah menikah. Akhirnya suaminya berguru di Sunan Kudus agar dapat mengobati orang sakit. Setelah mendapatkan ilmu, ternyata ilmu tersebut mempunyai pantangan tidak boleh untuk mengobati istrinya sendiri. Namun pantangan itu dilanggar untuk mengobati istrinya sendiri. Hanya dengan satu uang sen ditaruh air dalam gelas. Dan diminumnya air tersebut tiga kali, berangsur-angsur kesehatan sang Istri mulai membaik. Sebaliknya, suaminya setelah beberapa tahun, sekitar tahun 1968 suaminya wafat. Tak hanya diakibatkan melanggar pantangan tetapi juga karena sakit jantung dan terlalu sibuk dengan pekerjaan.

Menginjak umur yang ke-88 tahun kesehatannya cukup baik. Beberapa gaya kehidupan sehat yang dapat dicontoh: selalu minum air putih setelah tidur malam, tiada hari tanpa minum kopi, makan sayuran dan buah-buahan, setiap hari diupayakan untuk jalan-jalan pagi walau hanya sebentar. Makanan atau minuman kesukaannya ialah susu, pisang, ikan bandeng dan roti kering.
